CONTRACTS

ARMY

Pragmatics, Inc., McLean, Va., was awarded on Jan. 10 a $51,860,717 firm-fixed-price contract. The award will provide technology supplies and services for the Classroom XXI Enterprise Classroom Program. Work will be performed in Fort Benning, Ga.; Fort Bliss, Texas; Fort Campbell, Ky.; Fort Drum, N.Y.; Fort Gordon, Ga.; Fort Hood, Texas; Fort Huachuca, Ariz.; Fort Jackson, S.C.; Fort Leavenworth, Kan.; Fort Lee, Va.; Fort Leonard Wood, Mo.; Fort Lewis, Wash.; Fort McNair, Washington, D.C.; Fort Rucker, Ala.; Fort Sill, Okla.; Fort Bragg, N.C.; and Fort Stewart, Ga.; with an estimated completion date of Sep. 29, 2012. Sixteen bids were solicited with three bids received. The U.S. Army Mission and Installation Contract Command Center, Fort Eustis, Va., is the contracting activity (W91QUZ-07-D-0002).

Gargoyles, Inc., Westminster, Md., was awarded on Jan. 10 an $11,115,156 firm-fixed-price contract. The award will provide for transportation services in Iraq, including routine maintenance, emergency repairs, washing, dispatching and towing services. Work will be performed in Baghdad, Iraq, with an estimated completion date of July 9, 2011. Three bids were solicited with two bids received. The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, Middle East District, Winchester, Va., is the contracting activity (W912ER-11-C-0012).

Leonie Industries, LLC, Pacific Palisades, Calif., was awarded on Jan. 7 a $10,353,285 firm-fixed-price contract. The award will provide for media and marketing support services throughout Afghanistan. Work will be performed in Afghanistan, with an estimated completion date of July 5, 2011. One bid was solicited with one bid received. The U.S. Army Rock Island Contracting Center, Rock Island, Ill., is the contracting activity (W52P1J-09-D-0053).

Healtheon, Inc., New Orleans, La., was awarded on Jan. 10 a $6,994,305 firm-fixed-price contract. The award will provide for a pumping station, temporary retaining structures, levee embankment, discharge piping, back fill and access roads. Work will be performed in Waggaman, La., with an estimated completion date of Dec. 21, 2011. Eleven bids were solicited with four bids received. The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, New Orleans District, New Orleans, La., is the contracting activity (W912P8-09-D-0043).

NAVY

The Consulting Network, Inc.*, Middletown, Md., is being awarded a $16,337,190 modification to previously awarded contract (N00024-08-C-6264) to exercise an option for required services to include software and hardware development, systems engineering and procurement of commercial off-the-shelf products and hardware/software integration, in support of Virginia-class submarines and other submarine/surface ship systems. The services provided are for the continued engineering, fabrication, test, installation, and training services for the analysis, design and, prototyping of components related to open architecture concepts. This effort is for Phase III of a Small Business Innovative Research, topic number N01-150, "Open Architecture Concepts." These services will be rendered as needed to support the Navy's initiative for an improved capability for both legacy and future variants of Navy systems in compliance with evolving FORCEnet and Global Information Grid requirements. Work will be performed at Middletown, Md., and is expected to be completed by September 2011. Contract funds will expire at the end of the current fiscal year. The Naval Sea Systems Command, Washington, D.C., is the contracting activity.

General Dynamics NASSCO, San Diego, Calif., is being awarded a $9,250,951 modification to previously awarded contract (N00024-06-C-4402) for the USS Pearl Harbor (LSD 52) fiscal 2011 phased maintenance availability. A phased maintenance availability provides for an extensive renovation and modernization of a dock landing ship, including alterations and repairs as well as inspection and testing to all ships systems and components ensuring safe and dependable operation of the ship. Work will be performed in San Diego, Calif., and is expected to be completed by May 2011. Contract funds in the amount of $9,250,951 will expire at the end of the current fiscal year. The Southwest Regional Maintenance Center, San Diego, Calif., is the contracting activity.

DEFENSE LOGISTICS AGENCY

Senn Brothers*, West Columbia, S.C., is being awarded a maximum $15,157,080 fixed-price with economic price adjustment, total set-aside contract for full line fresh fruit and vegetables support. There are no other locations of performance. Using services are Army, Navy, Air Force and Marine Corps. The original proposal was Web-solicited with two responses. The date of performance completion is July 11, 2012. The Defense Logistics Agency Troop Support, Philadelphia, Pa., is the contracting activity (SPM300-11-D-P088).

Coast Produce*, Los Angeles, Calif., is being awarded a maximum $10,246,545 fixed-price with economic price adjustment, total set-aside, indefinite-quantity contract for fresh fruit and vegetables support. There are no other locations of performance. Using services are Army, Navy, Marine Corps, and Department of Agriculture school customers. The original proposal was solicited via the Defense Logistics Agency Internet Bid Board System with six responses. This contract is exercising the second option year. The date of performance completion is July 31, 2012. The Defense Logistics Agency Troop Support, Philadelphia, Pa., is the contracting activity (SPM300-08-D-P020).

Shamrock Foods, Commerce City, Colo., is being awarded a maximum $9,457,010 firm-fixed-price, indefinite-quantity contract for full line food distribution support. There are no other locations of performance. Using services are Army, Air Force and Marine Corps. There were originally eight proposals solicited with five responses. This contract is exercising the fourth one-year option period. The date of performance completion is Jan. 14, 2012. The Defense Logistics Agency Troop Support, Philadelphia, Pa., is the contracting activity (SPM300-08-D-3219).
