(NSI News Source Info) TORONTO, Canada - June 25, 2014: Raytheon Co., Missile Systems, Tucson, Arizona, is being awarded a $223,081,894 fixed-price-incentive-firm contract for the procurement of 485 AIM-9X Block II All Up Round Tactical Low Rate Initial Production Lot 14.

Missiles for the U.S. Navy (161), U.S. Air Force (158), and the governments of Singapore (20), the Netherlands (28), Kuwait (1), and Turkey (117). In addition, this contract provides for the procurement of 132 Block II Captive Air Training Missiles for the U.S. Navy (47), U.S. Air Force (55), and the governments of the Netherlands (20), Singapore (8), and Morocco (2); 27 Special Air Training Missiles for the U.S. Navy (13), U.S. Air Force (12), and the government of the Netherlands (2); 180 All Up Round Containers for the U.S. Navy (59), U.S. Air Force (60), and the governments of the Netherlands (18), Morocco (1), Singapore (8), and Turkey (34); two Spare Advanced Optical Target Detectors for the governments of Singapore (1), and Morocco (1); 10 Spare Tactical Guidance Units for the governments of the Netherlands (2), Singapore (2), and Turkey (6); and seven Spare Captive Air Training Missile Guidance Units for the governments of the Netherlands (2), and Singapore (5). Work will be performed in Tucson, Arizona (43.74 percent); Andover, Massachusetts (10.08 percent); Valencia, California (6.10 percent); Midland, Ontario, Canada (5.54 percent); Rocket Center, West Virginia (5.49 percent); Vancouver, Washington (5.07 percent); Goleta, California (2.86 percent); Cheshire, Connecticut (2.05 percent); Heilbronn, DE, Germany (1.88 percent); Simsbury, Connecticut (1.61 percent); Cincinnati, Ohio (1.22 percent); San Jose, California (1.48 percent); Anniston, Alabama (1.31 percent); Maniago, Italy (1.21 percent); Chatsworth, California (1.11 percent); San Diego, California (1.04 percent); Montgomery, Alabama (.60 percent); Orlando, Florida (.55 percent); Valencia, California (.53 percent); Newbury Park, California (.50 percent); El Segundo, California (.50 percent); Claremont, California (.43 percent); Joplin, Missouri (.39 percent); Lombard, Illinois (.28 percent); El Cajon, California (.15 percent); and various locations inside and outside the continental United States (3.98 and .30 percent, respectively). Work is expected to be completed in December 2016. 

Fiscal 2014 weapons procurement (Navy) and missile procurement (Air Force), as well as foreign military funds in the amount of $223,081,894 are being obligated at time of award, none of which will expire at the end of the current fiscal year. 

This contract combines purchases for the U.S. Navy ($74,071,450; 33.20 percent); U.S. Air Force ($74,148,758; 33.24 percent); and the governments of Turkey ($46,902,085; 21.03 percent); the Netherlands ($16,471,972: 7.38 percent); Singapore ($10,574,904: 4.74 percent); Morocco ($522,442; .23 percent); and Kuwait ($390,283; .18 percent) under the Foreign Military Sales Program. This contract was not competitively procured pursuant to FAR 6.302-1. 


The Naval Air Systems Command, Patuxent River, Maryland, is the contracting activity (N00019-14-C-0053).

NAVY

Raytheon Co., Integrated Defense Systems, San Diego, Calif., is being awarded a $60,360,995 modification to previously awarded contract (N00024-11-C-2404) for the procurement, production, and test of the Integrated Shipboard Electronics (ISE) for Landing Platform Dock (LPD) 26 with an option for LPD 27 ISE. This contract includes options, which, if exercised, would bring the cumulative value of this contract to $111,347,220. Work will be performed in San Diego, Calif., and is expected to be completed by February 2017. Contract funds will not expire at the end of the current fiscal year. The Naval Sea Systems Command, Washington, D.C., is the contracting activity.

Wyle Laboratories, Inc., Huntsville, Ala., is being awarded a $33,693,891 modification to a previously awarded indefinite-delivery/indefinite-quantity multiple award contract (N00421-03-D-0015) to execute an award term for continued E-2C/E-2D/C-2 planning, program, and financial services in support of the Navy (79 percent); and under the Foreign Military Sales Program, the governments of France, Taiwan, Egypt, Japan, Singapore, and Canada (21 percent). Work will be performed in Patuxent River, Md., and is expected to be completed in December 2012. No funding is being obligated at time of award. Funding will be obligated on individual task orders as they are issued. Contract funds will not expire at the end of the current fiscal year. The Naval Air Warfare Center Aircraft Division, Patuxent River, Md., is the contracting activity.

Deloitte Consulting, L.L.P., Lexington Park, Md., is being awarded a $30,071,729 modification to a previously awarded indefinite-delivery/indefinite-quantity multiple award contract (N00421-03-D-0014) to execute an award term for continued E-2C/E-2D/C-2 planning, program, and financial services. Work will be performed in Patuxent River, Md., and is expected to be completed in December 2012. No funding is being obligated at time of award. Funding will be obligated on individual task orders as they are issued. Contract funds will not expire at the end of the current fiscal year. The Naval Air Warfare Center Aircraft Division, Patuxent River, Md., is the contracting activity.

Raytheon Co., Tucson, Ariz., is being awarded a $22,151,900 modification to previously awarded contract (N00024-08-C-5401) for the production of 50 Block 1 MK-44 Mod 2 Rolling Airframe Missile (RAM) guided missile round pack all-up-rounds. The RAM guided Missile Weapon System is co-developed and produced under a NATO Cooperative Program between the United States and the Federal Republic of Germany. RAM is a missile system designed to provide anti-ship missile defense for multiple ship platforms. Work will be performed in Tucson, Ariz. (49.7 percent); Ottobrunn, Germany (42.7 percent); Rocket City, W.Va. (4.5 percent); and Andover, Mass. (3.1 percent). Work is expected to be completed by February 2014. Contract funds will not expire at the end of the current fiscal year. The Naval Sea Systems Command, Washington, D.C., is the contracting activity.

Canadian Commercial Corp., General Dynamics Land Systems - Canada, Ontario, Canada, is being awarded an $18,508,325 firm-fixed-priced, indefinite-delivery/indefinite-quantity modification under previously awarded contract (M67854-07-D-5028) for the production of 275 rocket propelled grenade net kits in support of the Mine Resistant Ambush Protected (MRAP) Vehicle Program. Work will be performed in Waltham, Mass., and is expected to be completed by May 2012. Contract funds will expire at the end of the current fiscal year. Marine Corps Systems Command, Quantico, Va., is the contracting activity.

DEFENSE LOGISTICS AGENCY

Physio-Control, Inc., Redmond, Wash., was issued a modification exercising the first option year on contract SPM200-07-D-8261/P00005. The award is a fixed-price with economic price adjustment contract with a maximum $49,418,113 for defibrillators and related accessories. There are no other locations of performance. Using services are Army, Navy, Air Force, Marine Corps, Veterans Administration and federal civilian agencies. There were 61 responses to the solicitations. Type of appropriation is fiscal 2006/2016 Defense Working Capital Funds. The date of performance completion is Dec. 7, 2016. The Defense Logistics Agency Troop Support, Philadelphia, Pa., is the contracting activity.

Johnson & Johnson Healthcare Systems, on behalf of Ortho-McNell-Janssen Pharmaceuticals, Inc., Piscataway, N.J., was awarded a fixed-price with economic price adjustment, indefinite-delivery/indefinite-quantity contract with a maximum $43,246,524 for pharmaceuticals. Other location of performance is Kentucky. Using services are Army, Navy, Air Force, Marine Corps and federal civilian agencies. There were 11 responses to the Defense Logistics Agency Internet Bid Board System. Type of appropriation is fiscal 2011 War-stopper Funds. The date of performance completion is Dec. 5, 2012. The Defense Logistics Agency Troop Support, Philadelphia, Pa., is the contracting activity (SPM2D0-12-D-0001).

Patterson Dental Supply, Inc., Minn., was issued a modification exercising the second option year on contract SPM2DE-10-D-7447/P00005. The award is a fixed-price with economic price adjustment, indefinite-delivery/indefinite-quantity contract with a maximum $15,240,054 for distribution of dental supplies. There are no other locations of performance. Using services are Army, Navy, Air Force, Marine Corps and federal civilian agencies. There were 10 responses to the Defense Logistics Agency Internet Bid Board System solicitations. Type of appropriation is fiscal 2012/2013 Defense Working Capital Funds. The date of performance completion is Dec. 13, 2012. The Defense Logistics Agency Troop Support, Philadelphia, Pa., is the contracting activity.
